I love this quote. 20 years ago, I thought about planting a pecan tree in my backyard, but it seemed like it would take too long to get pecans. If only I’d gone ahead and planted it, I’d have pecans now to share with the squirrels. Sometimes I still think about planting one, but I have planted so many other trees, I’ve run out of room.

We have trees that turned 18 this past January and when we planted them I thought they’d be twigs forever. Time sure flies.
