Shame of us for allowing him to listen to Metallica. Maybe we should have censored him but we were almost hippies and censorship is not in our vocabulary. And now after all these years, proof is in the pudding so to speak. What a perfectly flawed young man he turned out to be. Get it … perfectly flawed. Aren’t we all?

haha – not much for censorship with your kids….sounds like we were with ours. I remember they wanted to see the movie about the Doors, but the theater wouldn’t let them in for being underage. Well, I marched up there and demanded they be let in…and what do you know…they got in! They loved the movie, too. 🙂

We tried marching to that in basic training a few times. I think the instructor was a Stripes fan. It didn’t work out because we were as unmusical as it gets.
