Joan: what are you going to wear to the awards banquet?
Mary: I think I’ll wear my black pants, lace tank and my red jacket.
Joan (look of surprise): are you sure?
Mary: Hmm, well I didn’t pack anything else.
Joan: Surely you brought clothes with you and not just your under things.
Mary: Oh my! I meant I will wear my black trousers.
