#SLS ~ 11/15/20

What day is it? Oh yeah, Sunday. Time for Song Lyric Sunday or #SLS. Jim prompts us with begin/end/finish/start. Oh my, let’s begin, the choices are endless. See what I did just there? I know, I won’t quit my day job. Now the ideas begin percolating. Decisions, Decisions.

Begin – Where Do I Begin. Scratch that. Love Story. “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”. Bleh. Sorry Jenny and Ollie 😦

End – Bingo Bango. How about End of the Line by the Traveling Wilburys? Good dare I say great song. Classic super group but pretty sure I used that song before.

Finish? Hmmm. Nothing comes to mind.

That means start is the winner, winner, chicken dinner. Drum roll puhleese ….

  1. Oh great song! I love to hear it. When it first came out there was no internet to find the lyrics, so my girls wanted me to try and write them all down by listening to it over & over. I did it. Whew! 🙂

  3. Love this song. Got to see him perform it live twice. Fabulous. One of the times was with Elton John and when he got to the part about “England’s got a new Queen” they flashed a picture of Elton. LOL.

  4. I have never done a chair dance, but that is a good thing because I can barely dance when I am on the floor. Awesome song Jill that I will never get tired of listening to. Before humans went into space in the 1960s, several other animals were launched into space, including numerous other primates, so that scientists could investigate the biological effects of spaceflight. The United States launched flights containing primate passengers primarily between 1948 and 1961 with one flight in 1969 and one in 1985. France launched two monkey-carrying flights in 1967. The Soviet Union and Russia launched monkeys between 1983 and 1996. Most primates were anesthetized before lift-off. The Jupiter AM-18 flight, Able and Miss Baker became the first two animals to be launched by NASA into space that returned to Earth alive. Space Monkey.

    1. That’s so cool 😎. I vaguely remember the 1985 launch. Well reading about it anyway. Wasn’t there a space dog too? Off to Google it. Have a great Sunday! Thanks for stopping by 😊
