E: Idiom of the Day ~ 4/6/21

Starts with E – Elvis has left the building and Easy Come, Easy Go.

Jilly’s Take:

My Mammaw loved Elvis!  She went to Graceland and had the vacation of her life.  Never quit talking about it.  She went into mourning the day he passed.  Played his songs on a loop for hours.  I’ll never forget that August day. Elvis idiom info.  Easy Come Easy Go info.

  1. I love idioms. I had a large percentage of second language learners in my classes. I would often have to stop and explain what I meant when I used one and saw the confusion in their eyes. A fun month of memories. Thank you.

    1. I’m glad this brought back memories. I’d be in trouble because I speak in idioms all the time. Can’t explain them without looking them up. They just come so naturally.
