Share Your World ~ 10/6/20

It’s Tuesday! I’m a day late and a dollar short. Thanks Melanie for hosting! Here are the rules and ping back.

Questions:

When was the last time you tried something new?  How did that go for you? Everything old is new again … theme of late and last week’s #SoCS prompt. I failed that prompt and I am failing here too. For the life of me, I cannot think of the last time I tried anything new. Things feel stale thanks to the Rona. I am very much a hamster on the wheel.

What’s the most sensible thing you’ve ever heard someone say? So many sensible adages and wise sage advice out there that finding the most sensible thing proved impossible. Well I am oh for two or 0/2 🙂

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? haha! I tease my husband B by asking him, “if you didn’t know me, how old would you think I am?” He dodges the bullet every time. Smart man! lol

I’m 32! No questions asked. I will always and forever be 32. Several major life events happened to me at that age. Little did I know life was not done with me yet.

Lastly, I’ll be doing one “Halloween” themed question per week during October.  Those who don’t observe the holiday are welcome to answer or to ignore it as they wish.

Fun  CREEPY Halloween Question:

Have you ever seen a ‘fresh’ corpse (aka dead body)? No but in high school during mini-course week we did tour the morgue. We saw the drawers where the bodies are kept but they only showed an empty drawer.

  1. Thanks Jilly for Sharing Your World! Those teachers on that mini-course were wise. Seeing a dead body can be very distressing, even if you don’t know the person. Most of us have never seen dead bodies except through television or after they’ve been prepared for burial and we go to a funeral or memorial service. Much tidier that way too I suspect. Your hamster on the wheel comment made me smile, most folks I know are the same right now courtesy of living in the time of Covid. There are a few adventurous souls, but darned few. Safer that way! Have a great week!
