About Me

After a year and 1/2, I decided to update my about me page.  I often wonder who even reads about me and if they do does that make them stick around.  You see I have abandonment issues and would do almost anything for that human connection albeit of the virtual variety.

I write stream of consciousness from the heart whenever the whim strikes.  I enjoy prompts and have somehow stumbled onto some keepers.  A self proclaimed techno-dweeb who really is more technical than I let on. I fumble around this place called WordPress or bloglandia or life.

Come on in, the water is fine.  Sit a spell and let’s chat.

As always, more to come.

    1. Thank you Debbie. More people are sharing and that’s how I found you. Flying through water I think. I was captivated by the idea of forgiveness. A lesson I need to learn. I’m lucky to have found up.

      1. I’m glad! So I’m curious, are your stories fiction or non-fiction. At first I thought they were fiction, but then I wasn’t sure!

        They are real with pseudonyms.

  1. Hey Jill, I see you’ve mentioned my blog page – thank you!

I only had you in ‘follow by reader’ as you don’t have an automatic ‘follow by email’ but I’m posting this to you so I can, because follow by email only comes up if a comment is submitted, & I don’t use the reader, only email notifications.

    But that’s fixed now.

    Daria.

    1. Thanks! I’m technically challenged and have no idea how to customize. I keep saying I’m going to take some time to spruce things up. But then I blink and days have gone by.

  3. Hey Jill, I’m about to become an empty nester when #2 moves out this week. We’ve been practicing being half way there for the last year! Thank you for the follow of my blog – I’m off to roam around yours now πŸ™‚

    1. I found you through meet and great. My lucky day! Welcome and thanks for the follow. I’d like to say the empty nest gets easier but so far not the case. At least I recognize that I’m the one who has a problem. 😭

      1. Not at all. We were counting the hours for her to go back to school for spring semester. It’s very true you can’t go home again. In all fairness, she was counting the hours too. It’s bittersweet.

  4. Hi Jill! Thanks for the follow. I’m looking forward to reading your ramblings especially how you and Billy cope with the empty nest. I haven’t even started laying them eggs, lol! Toodles.

    1. Yes! You will love it. I’m still working out the technical kind of stuff. Despite all the rules there are really no rules. Welcome to the club πŸ˜€

  6. How lucky am I that you commented on a comment I left on Tony’s post today…I love what you’ve shared and the way you’ve shared it and will definitely be “following” you from here on out….and, I am freaking out in my head right now because I love divine connections that come to be….my “About” makes reference to S.E. Hinton…”The Outsiders”….and you reference Pony Boy….now, to my mind, that is proof positive that you and I are going to click very well…no pressure…anyway, my mane is Truly and it is so lovely to meet you πŸ™‚
