That’s snacks y’all!! Say it with me. The origin story along with our rules and pingback are HERE.
Now that I’m back in the land of the living, I am overhearing things … this was yesterday’s eavesdrop.
The truth is probably somewhere in between
Rando in the hallway
Ha! #truth. And this liner could apply to almost anything. I think their convo was about relationships woes since as I walked away I heard … you should leave him. Run gurl run! Ah what do I know? Nunya bidness anyway J-Dub. Okay folks my nerves are singing. Ta-ta for now.
Happy Wednesday. To the rules and pingback for an example of the stuff we make up. Hey I resemble that remark. MSU is my jam.
A bit of background. After the war between Dish & a company whose name I forget (but it begins with a T), CBS is back in the lineup. Yea buddy! That means our Prime Time Any Time will record some funny shows like Ghost and Young Sheldon. They will be my fodder for upcoming #1liners.
Today’s one liner is also a TV quote, from the show Kenan. I love all the actors, very talented in their own right. Special treat is Don Johnson, Mr. Miami Vice as the father-in-law/grandfather. This line was more funny when I heard it than it is now as I write it but oh well. You get what you get sometimes. #MSU baby.
Phil something ain’t right dog, keep an eye on your kidneys.
My TV-a-holic self was going quote a quip today but instead of sit-coms I watched dramas This is Us and New Amsterdam last night and was gutted. But damn I NEEDED a good cry. Very therapeutic just like writing this blog post. Or blasting tunes. I could’ve quoted from both shows but this is one liner doing double duty with #JusJoJan not a two liner. Tee he.
Okay mom, don’t let me keep you.
Jack Pearson at his mom’s eulogy
Out of context, this may not seem emotional but trust me it was. Everyone deals with trauma their own way. If we’re lucky, we find our tribe.
Gurrrrl my mind is cluttered too. Somebody stop me said in my Jim Carrey voice over voice. Y’all know I watch way too much TV or half watch as I sit with B in the living room and read (or try to read) while he watches. I’ve gotten pretty good at blocking out one thing or the other. My kids will tell you. They had a hard time getting my attention when I was reading. MOM! MOM! MOM! Then me: Huh, what? coming out of the fog of a good story. Boy, I’m talkative this morning. Anyway from a show earlier this week, not sure which one as I may or may not have been multitasking when I heard this gem that made me giggle.
Are you Ready? Heck ya, I’m ready, set, and go!!!!
some random line from a TV show that Jilly can’t remember the name of …
