I disagree Mr. Valéry. Sometimes in poor company. That I can get onboard with but not always in poor company. Absolutes are rarely true.

Last night, as I due most Tuesday nights, I listened to a podcast. My new friend, because yes I have an attachment disorder causing me to make friends with complete randos on the Internet, is very comfortable being alone & he is a hoot! My southern colloquialism to mean he is tons of fun & great company for himself! Comfortable in his own skin as it were despite some very sad events. I was awed by his ability to “rise above” or resolve with his situation.

That’s what I am working on with Charles. How do I get to a place of acceptance with things that suck? How do I become my own BEST company?
