I loved astronomy & took that class in college for my science credit. Business majors usually looked for something “easy” but we soon found out Astronomy wasn’t. Our teacher Professor Alaniz made it fun though. We hung on his every word. I wonder what he’s doing these days. He was barely older than me as a late college start already in my 20s. But I digress.
Our watch parties were legendary. No booze needed. The stars were intoxicating enough on their own. At my first gathering, I learned to spot Orion. That’s the hunter. A constellation 🌌 well known & easy to spy. My zodiac sign though Prof A was always quick to point out Astronomy is NOT Astrology. Stargazing was peaceful pass time for me. I should take it up again.
