#SoCS ~ 11/12/22

There’s something about the date 11/12/22 that I can’t quite put my finger on that makes me think today is lucky. Ya know something like 8/8/88 or 9/9/99. Maybe I should play the lotto & become a freaking billionaire. Someone has to win. AmIRight? Did someone win? Well back on August 3rd there was a 3 way split… I think. I haven’t played in years. We used to buy scratch offs for fun back in the 80s but the novelty wore off a long time ago. Maybe the only lucky part of 11/12/22 is that it’s time once again for #SoCS where our lovely hostess, Linda G Hill writes the prompt & I copy paste.

Think, think, & think

Celery, bleh, though I do like celery & use celery as part of the holy trinity. Cooks out there know what I’m takin’ about. I’m Cajun by marriage & I tell ya what, the food from Louisiana is fan-freaking-tastic. Grandma TuTu made the best gumbo. First you make a roux …. I love the spirit & celebratory nature of the culture.

Today I have big plans to do a deep clean in preparation of my down time. Tuesday afternoon is the big shot in my back day with fingers crossed that I’ll be one of the 50% who finds relief. Just like the lottery, someone has to win, might as well be me in that 50%. Though I’d love it if the odds were just a little better. I’ll still be here even if not really here by scheduling my posts. I MUST keep the streak alive. Hope your Saturday is excellent!!
