or overdone hype?
To me pumpkin was an acquired taste. As a child I didn’t like it at all. Now as an adult, I can take it or leave it. Starbucks sure makes a tidy profit from it this time of year I’d suspect. I subbed flavor for spice & used pumpkin as is.
