I’ve been angst riddled and asked for advice from one of the best people I know. Below is the whole reply but the bold/italic section is my one liner.

You know I’m trying to figure out how I or what I would do but I can’t really put myself in your shoes knowing what you’ve been through or how much you would want to learn. But I’m thinking if it was me that I would keep in contact even if it’s just a card every once in a while, a holiday or first day of every season. You never know and if it doesn’t hurt, it can always help.
And then this lapsed Catholic prayed about it. Heaven help me but I want more. I just don’t think I deserve it ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
