HERE are the rules and ping back to the fantastic #SoCS. Linda writes and I copy paste. Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “a picture from wherever.” When you sit down to write your post, find a picture, whether in a magazine, newspaper, or even product packaging. Write whatever thought or emotion the picture provokes. Enjoy!
I’m writing this on my iPhone so that I can pick a picture from my camera roll. Yesterday Lulu and I went to the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit. It’s cool because she has her first “real” job from which she took a vacation day and I tagged along. We really are each other’s best traveling partners. Even for day trips not only overnighters. I never thought we’d get here. Now to get Pony to take a trip with me. See what stream has done. I’m distracted writing whatever pops into my brain even if not prompt related. Ok, back to task.
I can’t just write about one picture. Van Gogh was so freaking fantastic I’m taking up WP media real estate for this gallery which will follow. There was a musical accompaniment that was perfection. Favorite song was Handel / Orch. Hale: Keyboard Suite No. 4 in D Minor, HWV 437: III. Sarabande. This rocker chick might be a convert. My musical horizons have been expanded too.
Without further ado… My iPhone pics don’t do justice but they’ll invoke a memory for the ages. I’m teary 🥹 just writing this as I listen to the set list! ❤️🩹 Coffee clatch verklempt talk amongst yourselves ❤️🩹

As always more to come.
I thought I knew Van Gogh but not like this! Fantastic perspectives and a great outing!

Lovely photos – what a grand experience to share. I always wonder when I see the works of these great artistsmif we would like them if we met them. Weird thought I know. I have a feeling I might find most of them as odd as they might find me!

Not weird to me. When I think of famous ppl, live or dead, who I’d like to meet, I venture toward artists and authors. Van Gogh was a tortured soul who produced much beauty. His biography is quite fascinating.

It really was amazing Sadje! Glad you liked the pictures. They ask folks to share to drum up business. No flash but otherwise we were encouraged to go for it.
