Slow going today, slept in until 10 A.M. which was my glorious mother’s day gift. That and homemade brownies from Lulu. I must say at the risk of shocking folks, I’m not feeling this “holiday” never have, never will, not really. A former schoolmate wrote a rather moving post today. Her mom died when she was only 6 months old. She said people always expected the day to be sad but it never was because she was surrounded by excessive, ridiculous, extravagant love from so many. My wish is for anyone who needs it to have this kind of love in their lives too and my heart breaks for those who don’t. Alrighty, off my soapbox. I hope I don’t twist my ankle on the way down. Now let’s roll call.
