#SLS ~ 5/1/22

Jim hosts #SLS and today the prompts are Suit, Pants, Dress, Shirt suggested by Paula of Light Motifs II. How about Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot. Here he is on the Midnight Special. I loved that show! HERE is more from the wiki.

I can see her lying back in her satin dress
In a room where you do what you don’t confess
Sundown, you better take care
If I find you been creeping ’round my back stairs

Sundown, you better take care
If I find you been creeping ’round my back stairs
She’s been looking like a queen in a sailor’s dream
And she don’t always say what she really means

Sometimes I think it’s a shame
When I get feeling better when I’m feeling no pain
Sometimes I think it’s a shame
When I get feeling better when I’m feeling no pain

I can picture every move that a man could make

Getting lost in her loving is your first mistake
Sundown, you better take care
If I find you been creeping ’round my back stairs
Sometimes I think it’s a sin
When I feel like I’m winning when I’m losing again

I can see her looking fast in her faded jeans

She’s a hard loving woman
Got me feeling mean

Sometimes I think it’s a shame
When I get feeling better when I’m feeling no pain
Sundown, you better take care
If I find you been creeping ’round my back stairs

Sundown, you better take care
If I find you been creeping ’round my back stairs
Sometimes I think it’s a sin

When I feel like I’m winning when I’m losing again

Sunday Reflections: A Week in Review ~ 5/1/22

I’ll get right to the recap. Not not feeling chatty today. Shocker I know. LOL.

Up first, A to Z Challenge for 2022 is in the bag. Fun was had by all, at least I hope so. I personally had a blast. I’ll be reflecting on the experience, then road tripping. Can’t wait!

Two additional posts from the usual stuff pile. I was lazy. I kept up my streak without my usual fodder.

  • #SoCS where I was zip, zero, and zilching
  • Ronovan’s Weekly Challenge with words Desert & Path

Peace y’all. Until next time. Stay safe.

As always, more to come.
