Happy Tuesday Folks! Some decisions have been made removing some angst. Lordy, lordy, thank goodness. To join in with your own two cents, HERE are the rules and ping back. Yet again I’m a day late but better late than never.
QUESTIONS
In your opinion, what do you buy way more of than most people? Hmmm, nothing, I’m frugal and skimp on most things.
Which workers have the worst jobs? The ones who do not love what they do. Sounds corny but in my vast (yet thimble sized) experience, I’ve come to learn if you love what you do, you’ll never work any day in your life. And I’m not going to put down someone else’s choice of profession as the worst like is often done to B because he chooses to work with his hands and get dirty on the job.
Opinion. John Cage is a composer who composed a piece named 4’33” for any instrument. The performance are instructed not to play their instrument for four minutes and thirty-three seconds. Is this music or is this art? A combination of the two? Neither, it’s stupid. Your opinion? LOL I love this question. All of the above. None of the above. Does anything happen after the silence? For sure wouldn’t want me in the audience because I would be yammering what the heck is going on?
How good are you at drawing? I used to be but any skills I had have been lost from lack of use. My kids have the creative gene if not directly from me, through our ancestors. When Pony was 3, he drew the next door neighbor’s house. A whole scene. The car parked on the street in front. The mail box, some trees. He’d sit on our stoop and sketch for hours while I worked in the flower beds. When I finally took a look at his sketch pad I was gobsmacked. No one ever believed he did it himself. He could’ve been a contender. His perfectionist self became so compulsive that drawing was no longer fun. After about 6th grade, that was it. Lulu still sketches but she won’t show her work except for her one and only tattoo that she drew herself.
GRATITUDE SECTION (as always optional)
Feel free to share one amazing thing you’ve experienced (any time frame). I like to catch a full moon. Sometimes you get lucky. See feature image and while grainy, the experience of seeing the moon is all its’ glory is absolutely amazing.
