My first thought bubble is compa-ratio. Seriously?!? What the what! I’m no longer a manager and don’t have to worry about compa-ratios so why oh why would I go there? Nope not gonna do it. But I am stuck. C’mon brain, think, think, and think.
Comp – free meal but there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Ain’t dat da truth.
Comparable – analysis paralysis to review and find what’s comparable but to what? Still sounds more like homework.
Competition – not a fan, thank goodness I’m on the downhill slide in my career and no longer have to compete. Not like I ever HAD to but I did enjoy the tussle. I was always harder on myself in those cases. A stealth competitor more interested in being the best me. That perfectionism served me well until it didn’t. Like I said yesterday, life’s too short. Priorities need to be adjusted.
The worry wiggle is getting me so I’ll just stop now. Quit while I’m ahead as ‘they’ whoever ‘they’ are say. Another day of walking with the girl. Hope to get in 5 miles since time is on our side and the weather is cooperating. Wishing you all a sensational Saturday.
