Melanie serves up the questions with some explanations to get us going. Here’s my two cents worth 1/2 a penny. Which btw used to exist. Cool 😎 man. Ah-mazing.
What is one topic you love to talk about? I can’t narrow down to just one topic. I enjoy 😊 shooting the breeze about tons of stuff. Weird facts like how in our currency we once had 1/2 a penny. I can jaw your ear off on just about anything.
Suppose there was a magical wizard standing right in front of you and you could turn your life into anything you wanted, what would you do? Faint from the shock of seeing a magical 🧙♂️ wizard. I know I’m supposed to suspend belief but I’m a realist. And truth be told. I like my life. Even with all the insanity. I laugh a lot and joke that having this much fun should be a sin. I love 💕 my family. I didn’t choose my job, it chose me and I’m pretty good at it.
Could you adjust to life without any internet? Nope. Not anymore. Especially with the pandemic 😷 keeping me home. And I couldn’t work remotely without the Internet. How would I make a living? I’ve said this before and here I go again, the Internet is no longer a luxury. It’s a necessity. Plus, I’d miss you all way too much.
What do you think is unique about the human ‘animal’ (homo sapiens)? Everything and not a damn thing. Just who do we think we are? A little humility might do us good.
GRATITUDE SECTION (As always, optional) Share some encouraging words that you’d say to someone who was feeling down. After B’s accident, he went to therapy for PTSD. The therapist told him to say ‘eff’ to everything he can’t control. That’s all it took and he was cured. Well I’ve adopted that mindset and I encourage you to do the same. Say Yippee kiya to all the mofos. With every profanity, I’ve never felt better.
As always more to come.
Letting go of what we can’t control has been my goal for 3 1/2 years. I am pretty good at it. It makes all the difference.

I agree and have come to a realization I will never be completely cured but With practice I’m getting better at letting go sooner.

Thanks Jilly for Sharing Your World! I find it sort of reassuring that cussing is now a therapy tool. It’s quieter (well mostly) than scream therapy, and it does have an immediate effect on the person doing it. I always feel a bit of stress relief, even if I’m trying to stop. Hello. I’m Melanie, and I’m a swearing addict. 😆 It sounds like your life fits you to a tee! I’m sure the wizard is a bit relieved too, because one or two of the stops he’s made had some LOOOOOOONG lists. 🙂 Man is a greedy, self-righteous, entitled animal, even if we are ‘top of the food chain’. That big brain cost us something in acceptance and compassion and sharing I think. Hopefully the ‘net isn’t going anywhere despite those gloomy sorts who go about spouting about net failure. It has become an integral part of the real world! Have a great week!

Agree with you on how humans behave, though there are pockets of good in there. I have to hope the good prevails. Pollyanna that I am … well sometimes. Hope you have a great week too.

I would enjoy having a conversation with you. Talking about everything and nothing. It would be very entertaining I should think.

Terrific post Jill. We used to have a 1/4 penny – a farthing. I still have a few somewhere!
