Top-o-the morning fine folks of bloglandia. Let’s get this #SoCS/#JusJoJan combo party started shall we? I hear there’ll be birthday cake!! Linda writes and I copy paste Your prompt for #JusJoJan and my very first birthday-Stream-of-Consciousness-Saturday is: “icing on the cake.” Write about the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the phrase “icing on the cake.” Enjoy!

Hmm, icing on the cake. Think, think, and think … is that like a cherry on top of the whipped cream on top of a hot fudge sundae? Anyone else triggered by this spelling of sundae? Nope. Just me? Move along little doggy.

Icing on the cake is extra special but and it’s a big but, some people don’t like icing. They want only cake or vice versa. And Yes! When baking a cake, I do lick the beaters and I will eat any leftover frosting. Oh my, now we can have the is icing different from frosting? convo cuz ya know icing is better or maybe frosting is better? Personal preference. To not delay the answer, icing is thin powdered sugar and milk while frosting is thick with powdered sugar and butter. Mhmm butter makes everything better. Frosting for the win!!! Don’t believe me? Google it. I’ve no time as I streaming. She was red hot. I mean, she was steaming. Thin Lizzy is back in town with the boys …
