Ahhhhhh, oh what a life
Bending with the pain of love
My heart is bursting
Written for Ronovan Writes #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge 392 BEND(ing/s) and Heart.
A little explanation about my haiku this morning. B’s parents are going through the ringer. They’ve lived a good life until now in their golden years, when health issues are complicating what should be the best time of their lives. At least that is how I envision the golden years, a winding down of our clock, only sunshine and rainbows allowed!! And it’s sad to watch as they get hit by one issue after another, and another. Like a freaking tidal wave, or tsunami. But life is not for the faint of heart. I’ll say that again … louder for the people in the back.

she’s confused, poor thing but also stubborn and then upset when things don’t go the way she thought they would … we tried to tell her she will only get the ESI after the MRI … alphabet soup
