Good golly Miss Molly, sure like to ball …
And that’s what we have here today with #SoCS in da house. Where the lively Linda prompts us with Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “golly gee.” Use “golly gee” or another interjection that displays the same sentiment in your post. Enjoy! To join in, HERE are the rules and ping back.
Little Richard singing was close but no cigar. Those words however were all that popped into my brain and there they stuck. Like glue. No amount of thinking moved me away from the classic hit except for a vague memory of a 1960’s TV show where the Beaver or Dennis or some Eddie Haskell like kid says “golly gee”. And without the luxury of research, I’m toast. For today anyways. Wishing you a sensational Saturday folks.
As always, more to come.
I do believe it was Eddie Haskell who said that. Seems like the right time period. Might also have been Opie on The Andy Griffith Show, wait, no Jim Nabors, as Gomer Pyle, “Goooolly.”
