Linda mentions a weird moon and I just read that starting this Friday in the wee hours of the morning we will experience a partial lunar eclipse. One for the record books I believe. But they are predicting cloudy weather to obscure viewing in Florida. Hope Texas weather fairs better. When I was younger I set an alarm for these events. But now, I prefer sleep. lol.
Alrighty enough blathering about. Here is my offering today. Borrowed from the masterful Rod Serling.
I need to get it out of my gut … write it down. This is the way it began for me.
Rod Serling
I stumbled across the above as I scrolled through Twitter last weekend. I knew I wanted it to be my one-liner. I sometimes refer to writing as releasing the hounds. Though lately, I find myself holding back. Time for a gut check. To join in, HERE are the rules and ping back.
Rod Serling was the master – nice choice.

He was masterful. To think his Twilight Zones live on to this day. Enjoyed by generation after generation.

This perfectly sums up the state of things for me. Often there’s no stopping once I start writing things down.

Same which is why I’ve held back a bit. There’s no time to go down the rabbit hole. But I think I need to so I can clear the air.

In case you never saw this commercial.
Every so often, I think of Seinfeld’s address to his gas tank and it’s the same in writing. Sometimes you have to let go of your inner hounds.
