Share Your World ~ 11/2/21

Melanie gives us an Evil squirrely version of Share Your World. Well you don’t have to tell me twice. And awaaaaayyyy we go!!! I so enjoyed the graphics but for ease of use, I went with just the plain questions. They’re still evil squirrely so they count. I think.

Just The Plain Questions

  1. What was the very first popular song you ever remember taking a liking to? I’m not talking about children’s songs or old traditional songs… but the kind of songs you’d hear on the radio. My first memory of music is listening to a transistor radio tuned to KTSA AM 55 and a crackly Wooly Bully. My sister also had the 45 which we played over and over again. Now I am smiling ear to ear and singing along.
  2. Are you one of those people who get queasy at sight of blood, or could you watch an open heart surgery? I get queasy and I’ve been known to faint at the sight of blood or when giving blood. Though I’ve donated many times, I have to psyche myself up for it.
  3. Who or what do you feel is lurking right behind you, just waiting to ambush you and make your life a living hell (or “heck” for those with delicate sensibilities)? My own overthinking. I am not the sun, no one else is even remotely thinking about me. I constantly have a waiting for the other shoe to drop feeling. I’ve always been what my mom called a worrier.
  4. What is the gaudiest thing you have ever worn? Hmm, I go for the opposite of gaudy usually. Shorts when it is warm, sweats when it cools down paired with a plain t-shirt especially since we aren’t going into the office all that often anymore.
  5. Fess up! What was something you did as a child that got you into BIG trouble? I was too afraid to do anything. A rule following, teacher’s pet. I have one vivid memory though asking for cherry flavored gum at the Handy Andy checkout. Mom said no but I pocketed the pack anyway. She found it and made me take it back. I was so embarrassed. I never tagged along on her grocery shopping trips after that. Fast forward to 7th grade and I monkey see, monkey do did it again. Not my idea but that doesn’t matter, I went along with the group. We were wrong. The second time was the cure. Did the same walk of shame to apologize and return the goods.
  6. (Gratitude Question – Always Optional): What are you looking forward to as the festive season approaches? Time off from work. If this year is anything like last year, we’ll really do it. Not just lip service but an actual two weeks off to decompress and reenergize.

As always, more to come.
