Happy Saturday! Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends. We’re so glad you could attend. Come inside! Come inside! … I recall the piano extravaganza of that which is ELP. Picture it. San Antonio TX circa 1970 something. Little Jilly watching TV in awe. Almost like the video that follows …
Let’s go! On to the main event. #SoCS in da house. The lovely Linda prompts us with Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “boo.” Find a word with the letters “boo” in it or use “boo” as is and base your post on it. Enjoy! To join in the fun and frolic, HERE are your rules and ping back.
Hmmm. Boo! Think, think, and think.
BOOB. Not to be confused with BYOB. There are lots of boobs out there. All kinds too not just the female variety. I’m like 99.9% sure that October is breast cancer awareness month. Ladies remember to get squished. Not only in October but once a year in the month of your choosing.
The first thing that came to mind when I read the prompt is what I will end with. Boo-Berry cereal. A few weeks ago on a random ‘just because’ Friday day off, I went to HEB and saw for the first time in forever, that they had Boo-Berry. I was positive the lil Boo had been discontinued but nope an entire display in all his glory was right in front of me. I almost added the delightful bites to my cart for nostalgia sake but then common sense and good decency appeared. I already had my ghost ding dongs in the cart anyway. One can only take so much sugar.
Alrighty, I am off … to the races … or the couch. For lounging and reading. On this day, 15 years ago, things were unfortunate J-Dub’s: A Series of Unfortunate Events – The Final Installment – Aptly Subtitled Truth is Stranger Than Fiction. All the graphic photos have since been deleted from my prior post. Talk about things that make you go Boo!! Today I won’t let that memory steal my thunder though. Instead I’m grateful!!
As always, more to come.
Great job, Jill. I never had boo berry cereal but remember it.

Thanks John. You’re better off. It’s not for the faint of heart. As a kid I only wanted it for the color. Pretty sure I never truly enjoyed it.

Hahaha. I thought blue milk would be cool.

I am sorry that awful memory rears its ugly head. I’d rather think of a sweet cereal than a horrible invasion. I never was one for sweet cereals though.

Thanks Lauren. The memories are muted. As for the sweet cereal I’m no longer a fan either. It was an easy decision not to put the Boo Berry in my cart.
