I’m the luckiest girl in the world 🌍. A bit overcome by joy 🥲. My Pony is in Philadelphia for a two day concert. I’m so happy for him and his best friend. I joked about stowing away this whole time. I even took the day off work in solidarity 😂. But alas they took off Thursday night without me.
Today I got three photos – one cheesing for the camera with masks 😷 on for my benefit I’m sure, one of real Philly cheesesteaks, and one confirming they won a pint 🍺 playing video games. Priceless … all of it.
All my people are in good places right now. A year ago, that wasn’t the case. Savoring the moments like this one for however long it lasts. ❤️

The above is my shameful attempt to get bonus points by writing three little words as my post. I don’t count the intro because ya know that is the precursor to the main event. I don’t count this post script because ya know that’d mean no bonus points.
Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Had a wife and couldn’t keep her. Ha! Ever notice how nursery rhymes and the like can be really awful? Put her in a pumpkin shell, and there he kept her very well. Current events from near and far are entering my stream. My post is turning dark. Veer left lil Jilly, veer left. Egads!
October is knocking on our doors and with fall beginning earlier this week, the pumpkins are coming from near and far. Well not the pumpkins actually but the people talking about pumpkin everything. As a kid I hated pumpkin, now I love those delightful little gourds. Or better described, I love making pumpkin goodies for the fam. Fresh, not that canned stuff. I have a pumpkin empanada recipe to die for …
But what do pumpkins have to do with the theme? Near and far … Keep your friends close and your enemies closer? Nope, that’s near and nearer. Close but no cigar. I got it, how about a musical finale that includes near and far? Enjoy!!
