Howdy fine folks of bloglandia!! What a week I’m telling ya what. The world was getting me down. Hope you’re not feeling bluesy also but if you are, I get it. Everything going on is just too much. Continued pandemic, hurricanes, flooding, ending a war, and more. We also said goodbye to a dear co-worker. Cancer took another one. On that most depressing note, I’m going to do a quick roll call, then sign off to spend time with the family.

Peace y’all. Until next time. Stay safe.
As always, more to come.
I too lost a coworker to cancer. The personal losses and stresses added with the world losses and stresses has been a lot.

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s always hard to lose someone but in these circumstances it’s worse. No chance to say goodbye with continued covid precautions.

There is a funeral next week. I am surprised. I don’t feel safe going into a church. I might attend the graveside ceremony and stand away by myself. I haven’t yet decided.

I’m glad they’re doing that. Helps with closure. I’ve attended two live stream funerals since April 2020. In two others cases, they had something small for just family. In this recent instance her loved ones aren’t having anything now but might do a celebration of life later if things improve.

We had my aunt’s outside at the grave site. There were only five of us, spread apart and masked. The cemetery did an amazing job of safety measures. I have not been to another as of yet.
