Today would have been my brother-in-law Danny’s 55th birthday. No matter what else is happening in this world, we choose to remember him especially on this day. We even sang happy birthday and lit a candle on our pie from the turkey dinner this past Sunday. Good times I tell ya. Simple memory that makes me smile.
Now on to the main event. Thanks Melanie for hosting once again. Copy cat that I am and awaaaaayyy we go!
Questions:
Which meal is your favorite: breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
All of the above. Seriously, what’s not to love about each meal. I have a favorite in each category. Omelets with hash browns and toast for breakfast. WD Deli for lunch. I could work my way through their menu and never be disappointed. Any and every family dinner – more for the company than the meal because what makes a favorite doesn’t always have to be about the food.
Who do you admire most in the world? Hard to say. I know there is someone (maybe even several someones) but I’d really have to think about it. Okay, now that I have pondered briefly, in no particular order I admire B, his dad, my sister, and my kids. Each in their own way make this world a better place to live in, even if only on a small personal scale.
With the obvious restrictions in place, what do you regret not doing in the last year? Nothing. I have no time for regrets (or ragrets as the misspelled tattoo says). Do I wish I would have taken that trip? Maybe? Or not.
Something my former therapist imparted on me was to stop saying would have, could have, should have … we can’t go back there; we have to move forward.
GRATITUDE SECTION: (Optional)
Feel free to share something you’re grateful for.
For today in this moment, I am grateful that all is right in my bubble. For that I am most grateful. But hold on and “Fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy night,” Wake me up when the election is over would ya. As my buddy George posted and I took a screenshot of

I like the meme, too. Seriously, what else should we do?

Thank you Jilly for Sharing Your World and a very positive attitude! That last meme was perfect! I agree that ‘favorite meal’ doesn’t have to be about the food, the company is equally as important! Have a wonderful week!
