Linda writes and I re-write “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “brush.” Use it as a noun, a verb, or an idiom. Have fun!”
Hmm. Think, think, and think. Idiom. I better brush up on what an idiom is. Ha! See how I did that?
I use idioms like there’s no tomorrow. Half the time I don’t even know I’m doing it. I’ve got a million of em. When I first saw the prompt word my first that was “A bird in the hand is worth two in the brush”. I know it’s bush but this is stream and I have leeway.
B and I told Lulu that the other day. She’s job hunting. She had an interview then she got another call to proceed to the assessment phase with another company. If X offers me the job before Y do I take it? Yes! Because a bird in the hand …
