Editor is off the chain. I hate this y’all. No one’s got time for this. How can I get classic back?
- Harry Potter can speak to snakes. If you were able to have conversations with any one animal, what animal would you like to speak to? What would be the topic of your first conversation? I would definitely talk to my dogs Buddy and Spot. I’d ask them what they were trying to say with all those looks that seemed so human. I’d want to thank them for their unconditional love and make sure they have everything they need.
- The portraits in Hogwart’s dormitories can talk. If your graduation portrait could speak to people passing it by, what would it tell them? Hey you! What’sup?? Or maybe hey you life is only just beginning and absolutely nothing is as it seems so don’t sweat the small stuff. Life is too short for that noise.
- Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger use the Pollyjuice Potion for finding new clues for the happenings at Hogwarts. (The Pollyjuice Potion is a magic potion that allows your body to form into that of another and live their life for a few hours.) If you could transform into another being, who would you chose to be? What would you hope to learn? Hmmm that’s a tough one. It’s hard enough living in the body but to transform into someone else. Well no thanks I guess. Not interested in a “Freaky Friday” experience.
- There was a flooding in the girl’s bathroom where Moaning Myrtle resides. What has been the most dangerous (or comical) ‘flooding’ where you reside? Fortunately where I reside the chance of flood is nil. Now close by we have some low water crossings that occasionally flood but maybe overflow is a more apt description. And people will drive around the barricade. The rescue team has started fining folks when they disobey the signs. Which is well deserved in my opinion for wasting their time during an emergency situation.
And I decided to be a muggle too. Answering questions is strangely therapeutic. I like thinking about things I guess. Distraction helps.
Mundane or “Muggle” Questions:
(Serious one which is rather creepy): How do you think you’ll die? IF you do think about it? I have known death and dying since I was two when my father passed away. I understood nothing but it was a very scary time. He was very sick with lung cancer and he stayed at home dying in his own bed.
There are some rather strange customs associated with funerals so I try not to think about it much. I think I will die of a heart attack one day and I am sort of surprised stress has not killed me already. How I’d like to die is to go to sleep one day and just never wake up. A tragic or painful end scares the bejesus out of me.
What’s the best on-line screen name you’ve seen? “Best might mean the oddest.
So many good ones that is is hard to pick a “best”. I like the one’s that are edgy and snarky. Or the incognito who used a pseudonym. If I had planned better, I would have picked something way out there and utterly fantastic.
What’s invisible that you wish people could see? Good intentions.
If over time you replace parts on a car, at what point does it stop being the same car you bought? How many parts do you need to replace to make it a new car? I think to be new, you have to get a whole new car. Replacing parts is more like maintenance. The same car underneath. There is a lesson in here somewhere. Aristotle says … the totality is not, as it were, a mere heap, but the whole is something besides the parts. Guess that means a car is something whole besides of its’ parts. Perhaps the converse is true? Weighty thoughts on this fine Tuesday morn.
As always, more to come.
