Thanks Melanie for hosting. Looking forward to the twist next week. Without further ado, here’s what’s on tap for today.
Questions:
What will finally break the Internet? Do you believe it can be broken at all? Since I have no clear understanding of what makes the Internet churn, I can’t say what might cause it to break. What I know for sure is that I’ve become dependent on the Internet for everything. I’d be lost without it.
What are some ‘red flags’ to watch out for in daily life? (take it as you want) I’m blissfully unaware.
What’s the silliest thing someone has argued with you about? Something we agree on. We’re experiencing that now with my mother in law. During an argument this week Pony shakes his head and asked “why are we yelling at each other? She is the one we’re mad it”. By the way it’s extremely stressful and guilt provoking to be mad at an invalid.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve found lying on the ground / side of the road? Not strange but the only thing I’ve found on the side of the road was a box turtle.
I’m grateful for friends who are like family. Our cohort experienced profound grief last week. Many of us have reconnected. Making time to check in. Slow down. Just talk.

Thanks Jilly for Sharing Your World! My sympathies for your struggle with coping with your m-i-l! Mine was a perfect mother in law. She never interfered, she kept her opinions to herself, and she visited us very very rarely. My own mother was the exact opposite, and I heard endless stories from my sister-in-laws and my own husband about how much trouble my mother caused. The ‘difficult ones’ are trials to bear, if one has a good in-law, one can be thankful! A box turtle is kinda odd…something that you don’t see every day any how. At least not here…but it’s too arid to support turtles well in general. You are a great support and addition to this blogging community and bless you for that! Take care!

I do feel guilty feeling as I do. My father in law is the good one in this family. We count ourselves very blessed in that regard, I appreciate your kind words. They help immensely.
