Why did I go there? Way back to grade school. Somehow I think “tr la la boom di ay” sets up a nasty limerick. I lost my a$$ today … nope that’s not it.

There once was a girl from Nantucket…

Again I ask. What are you doing?

It’s #SoCS and Linda prompted us with the following: Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “zz.” Find a word with double-z in it and use it in your post. Enjoy!

Rio Grande Mud was the album by ZZ Top that my friend Nancy won by being the 9th caller and answering correctly. Does anyone else memba that? You could win albums, t-shirts, concert tickets and other assorted prizes from radio station contests. And we’re talking about a time with rotary phones. Being the 9th caller was no small feat.

Now we add a contact, then press one button.

When I first saw the prompt, my first thought was buzz. But I let my mind wander as “she’s got legs” popped unto my mind. Buzz could be good too. Bees buzz. Sangria gives me a buzz. I tried to order a bottle in my online grocery but they wouldn’t allow it. Here in Texas we can get drive through margaritas and a margarita truck comes through neighborhoods but I can’t get a bottle with my groceries.

And I’m not going in. Corona cases are spiking. If I got Corona or inadvertently was part of the spread because I was jonesing for alcohol, I never forgive myself.

And with that my stream is caught up on the rocks. Guess I’ll go … no where. But I’ll do something. We’re making cupcakes for Father’s Day.
