The added pressure of the new editor is keeping this short and sweet today.
When Jim prompted “Cinnamon/Mint/Parsley/Pepper/Rosemary/Sage/Salt/Thyme” my only thought was this 1996 gem called “Pepper” writers: Jeff Coffey, Gibby Haynes, and Paul Leary.
Without further ado, lyrics within, hope you enjoy.
This should be fun said no one ever. Testing the editor which becomes inevitable June 1st. Boo hiss says this Luddite. Seriously Meredith Grey. I don’t want or need anything this fancy. Re-dinka-donk.
Here we go here we go now. Time once again for #SoCS. If you too want to have a rousing good time, follow the link to the rules and ping back.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is βspay/splay/spray.β Use one, use two, use βem all, itβs up to you. Have fun!
Bob Barker always ended the Price is Right saying “spay and neuter your pets”. That’s it, got nothing else for spay.
Splay. Hmm. Think, think and think … Jazz hands. Fingers splayed apart. And again, I’m stumped.
Moving on to spray. “Say it don’t spray it” Hairspray or insect repellent. Of course there is the infamous Lysol disinfectant spray. That hoarders grabbed off the shelves. I’m way over Rona and other assorted things. Actually I’m sad. If I do not get over it soon, I will diagnose myself with depression and seek help of the non-medicated variety.
Nothing is percolating in ye ole noggin. Hoping for a return to creativity in the coming weeks. Hope you folks enjoy the rest of your Saturday.
Sadio Maneβ shares his wealth. This is what I’d like to think I’d do if I made 100k a week. The greater good makes my β€ happy. What an inspiring young man.
Thanks to our illustrious hosts. Best concept ever. #WATWB.
While I’ve ignored the message gracing by homepage, I’ve seen lots of posts regarding upcoming changes to WP on June 1.Β BeingΒ a self-proclaimed luddite, I’m waiting until my script gets flipped.Β No practicing.Β I will either sink or swim.Β Like I always do.Β When in doubt charlie out or do the left click, right click shuffle.Β I hope the platform doesn’t become a ghost town.Β I’m not sure how I’d start up any place else?!?!?
Here’s a cover that explains what I hope will happen.
Truth be told, I prefer the Gloria Gaynor version.Β Oh well.Β Wish me luck!
Today we honor the brave souls who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. My first second attempt at sharing my world is reflective of this day. Thinking deeply about it, those sacrifices are why Iβm able to share my opinions in the first place.
Questions:
In your opinion, does patriotism require the belief that oneβs country is the greatest on earth? By definition, patriotism is love of or devotion to oneβs country. You can love and be devoted to someone without always liking them so Iβd say no. Donβt read too much into that. Iβm my daddyβs girl. I bleed red, white, and blue.
Why is patriotism considered by some to be the highest of virtues? Hmm. Perhaps because it demonstrates unconditional love and devotion? If it isnβt fanatical, thatβs a beautiful thing to witness.
What is so important about love of country? The sense of community it brings. Unity is powerful.
Shouldnβt we be more concerned about humankind, or the planet as a whole, rather than a single country? Polly Anna over here thinks we can do both.
What is the relationship between decisions and consequences? Owning your decisions means youβre willing to accept the consequences. Iβm an over thinker who doesnβt make decisions without first considering what are the consequences. Always doing a mini CBA in my brain. Should I or shouldnβt I? That is the question π
What is social justice?An illusion.
and one βeasyβ one because those others? Fairly difficult. Whatβs one body part you wouldnβt mind losing? (told you. Silly). An earlobe.
Gratitude: What is something that made you smile during the past week? Not much sadly. Iβm in a funk. Though Iβm thankful for coworkers who make me laugh π€
