Well I got the graphics going now let’s stream. When I saw Linda gave us joint for #SoCS today, all I could think of was doobie. But there’s nothing I can write about that kind of joint. I was too afraid to partake even though the 70s man … they were groovy.
Next thought bubble was the famous line from Casablanca: “Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine”. Truth is I’ve never seen Casablanca in its’ entirety. Yet that line is classic regarding a disconsolate lover.
Then a song starts to percolate in ye ole noggin. A snappy lil jazz swing tune. That’s until I realize joint isn’t in the lyrics. Oh well I’m going for it any way cuz I bet a song like this would be played in a gin joint. Plus it brings foot stomping goodness which we all need right about now. Hope you enjoy.
