08/08/2018 – J-Dub's Grin and Bear It

Oh little monkey I need you today. Peace, Love and everything you stand for. Linda shared with us some beautiful inspiration blooms. I needed to see those too.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

See knuckle head that I am, I still think I can change things. But I am mighty mouse and not even remotely courageous. I have yet to learn the difference. On a positive note, I am a work in progress and I will get there eventually.

In the consoling words of my better half and soul mate, “nobody cares but you Jill”. He goes on to remind me of how he copes. You see when he had his accident and his recovery had several set backs, he thought he might never work again. He was depressed and went to a therapist. B saw the guy one time and was told “when you get upset over something you cannot control, just say fuck it!” And from then on, that is exactly what he does. Yep! The secret to happiness right there. In case you were ever wondering. And you’re welcome. 🙂
