I am a slow starter. This vacay thing is wunderbah aka wonderful. And look at me. From the start I am already willy nilly. But this is #SoCS after all and I am going with the flow and rolling in the deep with Adele.
Ugh, now stop it! You’re not playing any music. Your timer is on and you are writing it out old school.
You mean pen and paper?
Doh! Stop It!
You have not even told these sweet folks what is the prompt. Go on now, spill.
Okay. Linda says: Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “your favourite word.” What’s your favourite word? Write about it, base your post on it, or just write about the concept of having one. Enjoy!
Okay first things first. The word is spelled favorite not favourite. Just joking, spell it whichever way you like. Second when I read this yesterday I thought boy howdy and capital “Eff” or F. And then I briefly wondered can I make an x-rated post with my favorite profanity. Hmmm. Think, think and think.
“Not gonna do it, wouldn’t be prudent at this juncture” said in my Dana Carvey imitating George H W Bush voice.
I love all words. As a writer of the for myself variety, I find vocabulary fascinating. If I had to pick just one, I am not sure I could. If forced, I guess I’d say SAFE, no wait CALM, no wait PEACE. Or what about DREAMS or HAPPINESS. And I see the meanings not the words are what really speak to me.
Ah, beep, beep, beep. Time is up.

As always, more to come.
I usually take not of British style spelling too, they add the ‘our’ and spell organization with an s instead of a z (organisation). If I try to spell like that on my American computer it will tell me it is an error. 🙂

I loved your post, but I think that you should have gone with the word wunderbah, because you do know how to use it.

LOL we were lucky enough to see Adele when she toured a few years ago. Wonderful show. Also, fun fact, we were at Dana Carvey’s sister’s wedding because my husband worked with the groom. Dana was there. It was quite exciting. He said hello to us. I agree with the meaning of the word being the reason for its favoritism. Happy Saturday.

You know, I always think my life is so dull and boring but truth be told I have had some adventures, I just don’t remember them all until something jogs that bit of gray matter where they are stored 🙂
