I get my novels mixed up – A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley is NOT George Orwell’s 1984. I think it was 1984 that has Big Brother in it. Maybe I should Google it but I am in a spitting balling mood just trying to release the hounds.
Anyways, as I was saying or about to say this notion of big brother bothers me. I am a private person. Okay. I said Okay. Really. You can all quit laughing. I AM a private person. Sure I let you in on some stuff but not everything. Shockers right? How much more can there be you wonder. The following is a depiction since a picture is worth 1000 words.

Ever since I posted L is for Laughter and mentioned Robin Williams, my social media is blowing up with all things Robin. And that’s a-ok by me. I re-watched some Patch Adams because of the nudge.
What’s strange is that I would not have even gone there had it not been for the subliminal messages coming through my feeds. Even that word feeds has a tone of consumption. Makes we wants to eliminate my digital footprint and go into hiding. Off the grid. But I dislike being away from creature comforts. On the grid I will remain.
And maybe this idea of someone getting into my head and making recommendations for me is not such a bad thing. I can always use some help in the decision-making department. As long as I still have the final say.
As always, more to come.
IU’m guessing you’re talking about Facebook. Go to your Settings and bring up the Ads page, and go through their accumulated list of your “interests.” It’s actually scary how much stuff they’ve collected.

I don’t know. They don’t seem to work well for me. When I buy something they send me suggestions for the same for another four weeks. Duh? I already got it guys and am on a budget. Wont buy another just because you try to brainwash me 😊
