F is for #FlashFiction ~ April 6, 2018

I fancy myself an unpublished author.  A starving artist of sorts.  I make no money at my craft but I am still paid handsomely for my work.  Intangible payment true but payment nonetheless.  And I guess I do publish tons of stuff.  If you count the bluish aqua colored button with Publish… on the upper right of my blog that is.  Haha!

I get that kind of publish doesn’t count in the “real” as opposed to fake world.  Or … just maybe … it does. And in that case, I am a published author of the fictional variety.  One J-Dub McGillicutty.   I need a better pen name.

I have decided to make a category for #flashfiction on my blog.  One of my most enjoyable types of posts to write.  You see gang, I’ll let you in on a little secret.  My #flashfiction is typically organic stream of consciousness.  I guess I’ve spoiled the surprise but I imagine most of you already knew that.

I just love making stuff up and being a completely different person.  I take liberties to embellish and get things off my chest.  There is nothing so sweet as when dear friends or family (after reading one of my  #flashfiction) call or text me to see if I am ok.

My pat answer is that my “story” was pure D fiction.  I am not sure they really believe me though.  I’ve been told I just want sympathy.  That I should NOT air my dirty laundry. Pfft!  Bite me.  Lol.  Despite the opinion of some, I am not an attention seeking diva (ASD).  I am instead the Queen comma Drama (tQ,D).  Hehe 🙂

And I guess I will continue writing for the foreseeable future despite no extra coin in my pocket.

Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart. ~ William Wordsworth

That’s exactly what I do Mister Wordsworth.  Same when I put up my lame attempts at poetry.  The only lame attempt at anything is the one not taken. That’s my spin on stupid questions.  But and it’s a BIG butt.  There ARE stupid questions.  I should know since I’ve asked a boatload of stupid questions myself.  Anyhoo.  I am FIN.  For today.

As always, more to come.
