Uh ya, I am feeling a little in your face today.  Though no longer a teenager, I get it.  Feels like yesterday. Added sound for a nice twist.

D is for Dreams ~ April 4, 2018

“To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there’s the rub, for in that sleep of death what dreams may come ” ~ The composite Willie Shakes wrote that, not J-Dub.

Duh Jill.  We know that.  Of course you do.

Dreams fascinate me.  I am positive dreams are from our subconscious mind speaking to us.  But in this post, I am not referring to dreams we have while sleeping.  Nope, instead the dreams to which I refer are ones’ life ambitions.  I pose two questions and will answer from my perspective but then I’d love to see your opinions in the comments section.  Begging for feedback once again.  I am convinced eventually my ploy will work.

  1. As a child, what did you dream of being when you grew up? Around the age 8, I wanted to own a bakery and decorate cakes for a living. Then around 8th grade, I wanted to be a reporter.  Legit.  I wanted to interview people on the street and then write up the story for the newspaper.  I never dreamed or planned to do what I do now but life has a way of working out.
  2. Do you believe dreams really do come true?  They can but more often that not people are not living the life they imagined.  Life is messy.  Stuff happens. But when you’re lucky, you are grateful for what you have even when it wasn’t what you first dreamt of or wanted or expected.

Now your turn to answer. Let me know your thoughts.

As always, more to come.
