The more you know …
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
I am a suicide attempt survivor, many times. Praise God, I am still alive today.
I overcame many obstacles and struggles throughout my life and I will continue to overcome with God by my side helping me to continue to overcome the pain and sorrow I feel today.
Every day of our lives matter. I am important. You are important. We matter. Our lives matter. We can and do make a positive difference and impact in our lives and in the lives of many people. We can and do make a difference in this world.
We must make our voices heard very loud and strong about mental illness, mental illness stigma and suicide prevention. It is critical. It is crucial. Each life is priceless. It is important for all of us to do our part. We must prevent suicides and save lives.
