Flashback to the 70s when as a family we would watch Battle of the Network Stars ✨. I think my dad had a crush on Angie Dickinson. I’m pretty sure she was on the show a time or two. The reboot is just as fun. Tonight little DJ all grown up dove for the finish line. He almost made it too, just seconds behind.
I am not able to form a coherent thought as many things are racing through my brain. So, … there is that. Fair warning if you venture into this post. Actually, forget that. I am going to take a mental health break. Why force myself to conjure up some dribble? Instead, I will just listen to the soothing sounds of ole blue eyes.
Cheers to my friend who retired yesterday. This is her favorite song. You guys know I prefer the hard stuff but who doesn’t enjoy smooth jazz. I dare you not to sing along 😉
