  1. My help is generally limited to advice upon request for problems that have specific and concrete answers. Then I step back. Not going to ever give advice on philosophy, morality or personal matters. I’ll refer them to a psych professional, a doctor, a priest or whatever. Not going to get involved over a personal problem.

    If someone is about to drive off a cliff, I’ll “diplomatically” offer that information and then step well away. I hate to see train wrecks – but if one happens I don’t want to be close.

    Of course, the beauty of the internet is one can give all kinds of bad advice in a completely anonymous way.
