Recently I posted If You Are So Inclined asking for prayers for our PoPo. He got the results from his doctor and they’re going to remove nodules from his esophagus. This is supposed to be a routine outpatient procedure. The kicker is he’ll have to repeat said procedure every 3-4 months for the rest of his life. The nodules aren’t cancer thank goodness but they can become cancerous.
I’m hearing all this 3rd hand so I don’t have specifics because you bet your bottom dollar if I did, I’d be Web MDing that shit. I’d want to know everything there is to know about the condition. An informed patient who advocates for his own healthcare is prudent. A whack-a-doodle like me who has borderline hypochondriac disorder needs to step away from her iPad. I tell myself confirming the diagnosis (yes I’ve had zero years of med school) and becoming informed (ok, becoming obsessed) is not cray-cray. Doctors are human after all.
He is still waiting on an appointment. Whenever that is, Billy Bob will be the DD = designated driver. As we wait, I’m reaching out again. If you’re so inclined, all well wishes are appreciated 💝
As always, more to come.
Did he get his appointment? The wait between visits and treatment is excruciatingly slow.

He finds out today. And yes the wait is slow plus with holidays, it’s even longer than usual. Thanks for asking.
