Shout from the mountain tops

I know I post a bunch of stuff about doctors and I use all kind of cursewords WTF whatever but here’s a good doctor story.  The second one in a week so go figure.

We’ve been going to the same Eye doctor for 20 years! Yes you heard that right 20 years!  We took Pony  there for the first time at the age of eight. A little private practice on the east side of town … east side and proud!

AnyWho, we’ve been threatening to leave since the staff is sometimes awful and you wait forever but what kept us there was the sweet doctor

the adorable doctor

the very handsome doctor

the doctor who  is salt of the earth and says “God bless you”

And because of him we put up with all the other stuff.

Well apparently feedback is a gift 🎁.  And because of the feedback (from us and countless others) changes have been made within the last year.  And those changes are fantastic.  Same staff took some training.  Learned a trick or two.

Lulu and I had eye exams today. Appointments at 3:15 and 3:30. We were out of there by 3:45.  Of course we got there at 2:45 because I’m the weirdo who’s habitually early LOL    Still that has to be a record.

Just like family!   We get irritated then we make up. Now onto more birthday festivities.  Early bird special at a new place since Hsiu Yu is closing 😟.

Oh and I skipped  fixing my hair for this post … this is how important it was to shout out from the mountain tops.  Things are taking  a turn for the better on the healthcare front.  Dramatic?  you know it!

Channeling our inner Joans. Her Jett.  Me Crawford. πŸ˜‚

As always, more to come.

Yes Today IS All About MeΒ

Just kidding… kind of … not really

If these aren’t happy birthday dancing shoes, I don’t know what are ?

The inside are floral print and they make me HAPPY!  Ah the little things in life πŸ’•πŸŽΆπŸŽ‰

This is me 51 years ago.  Which means today I turn 52!  Woo Hoo!!

Time sure flies when you’re having fun and even when you aren’t.  Good thing is that most days ARE fun.

Sadly today is one of those that isn’t!   Well hell it’s bittersweet.  My cousin died today.  May she rest in peace. May the perpetual light shine upon her.

This is sad, so so super sad yet relief at the same time because she’s no longer in pain.  And for that I am thankful.

So as you’re out and about and doing what it is that you do, I wish you a super fantastic day.  That’s the best way to honor someone who’s gone … by choosing to remember the good things.

As always, more to come.
