“Begin at the beginning, that’s the best place to start”
I feel like that’s a line from Alice in Wonderland so not be accused of plagiarism, I did a search. Wa-la, partial match!
“Begin at the beginning,” the King said, very gravely, “and go on till you come to the end: then stop” Lewis Carroll ~ Alice in Wonderland
My twist is to say “that’s the best place to start”
The problem is that I muse and ramble. My thoughts have no beginning and no end. They are constant steady streams of madness. I can’t stop! If only I could shut my brain off. “OFF DAMN SPOT” Wait! That’s “OUT DAMN SPOT” and I am not Lady Macbeth. Or am I?!??
I’ve got a gaggle of guilt that I am dealing with so perhaps Macbeth is more apropos? Look at me go. Big words J-Dub, big words. Apropos. Thought bubble – Does guilt come by the gaggle or is that just geese? See me slipping toward the edge. As this song screams from my speakers. Check out this cool video The Distance. Â
Cause he’s going the distance, he’s going for speed. She’s all alone, all alone in her time of need.Â
“Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast” coined by William Congreve, in The Mourning Bride, 1697. Yep, breast is NOT a typo. Heady thoughts on this Tuesday evening as I wait to watch This is Us. NBC at 8 pm CST.
As always, more to come.
